The Now Brighton Murine Band will play the following programme on the North Brighton Rotunda to-morrow afternoon, commencing at three o'clock: —March, "The National Guard" (Lithgow); overture, "Victoria Cross" (Round); cornet solo, "The Holy City"; inarch, "Lyonia" (Trusscll)*; selection, "La Passirelli" (Boisson); fantasia, "On the Frontier" (Itayner); march, "The Invader" (Bulch). An attractive programme will close the present season of the Christchurch Glee and Madrigal Society, at the Choral Hall on Thursday, November 26. The members of the society have been working hard to make this final effort a thorough success. Several soloists will be heard, of whom the principal will be Madame Gower Barns .(soprano), and Mr J. C. McLean (bass). t>r .Crooke will play a pianoforte solo, and' Mr Sidney Williamson, D.R.C.M.L., will conduct. Mrs Monteith will act as accompanist. For Influenza take Woods' Great Peppermint Cure.
