A Copenhagen message ; says that;-a distinguished ii'eutral business' man reports that commercial classes in'Ger-
many now realise that Germany is checkmated in all directions and blames England foe the collapse of her grand plan of campaign. This has aroused ferocious fury, and the most intense hatred against England. Far-seeing commercial men realise that Germany's prosperity, which was at its zenith in July, is being sapped, and that the prolongation of the war will spell eventual ruin.
