GRATEFUL THANKS TO OVERSEAS,

(Received November 17, 9 a.m.) LONDON, November 16.

During the past three weeks 10,000 tons of foodstuffs have been delivered in\ Belgium for the foodless, and 6400 tons are being delivered, while 42,000 tons are being loaded in. various parts of the world, and 50,000 more being collected for shipment.

Mr T. A. Coghlan, , Agent-General for New South Wales, has handed to Count de Lalaing, the Belgian Minister, a further £20,000 for the Belgian Relief Fund. This sum includes contributions from New South Wales, Queensland, Christchureh, and Auckland.

Count de Lalaing has asked that his most grateful thanks be conveyed to all kind contributors for their . magnificent gift.
