The inundations now extend to within three miles of Bixsehoote. The Germans' attempt'to cross the-canal be- , tween Dixrnude and Bixschoote was hurled back, and a-German regiment was entirely destroyed to the south of Bixschoote. .German attacks to the south-e&st . of Ypres have been repulsed, and we have ' assumed the offensive and recaptured '' eeveral positions.
