Mr K. R. Park, late purser of the Maori, Monowai, and Tarawera, left the last vessel at Dunedin -with the intention of joining the Expeditionary Force. Mr J. Rish has joined the .Tarawera as assistant purser. Mr R. Penney is now purser of the Wanaka. Following out her Homeward loading programme, the Shaw, Savill, and Albion cargo carrier Zealandic left Gishorne at 11 p.m. i. yesterday for Lyttelton. She is due here to-morrow, and will leave on Friday for Wellington. Final departure :for Home will be taken from. the northern port about November 25. ; ' Information has ,been received that the Shaw, Savill; and, Albion Company's R.M.S. Corinthic, Homeward "bound from Wellington, reported all well ai the Falkland Islands, north-east of Cape Horn. An arrival at Lyttelton yesterday afternoon was the auxiliary schooner Huia, from the Bluff, where she completed discharge of her cargo of explosives. She will load produce for Auckland here, sailing to-morrow or Thursday'. ' From London, via Capo Town and Hobart, the New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Turakina arrived at Wellington last evening. Passengers and mails will reach Lyttelton per the steamer Monowai to-morrow morning. Cable'advice hag been received stating that the steamer Delphic, which has replaced the Athenic in tbs .mail; Beryice, left London on Friday last for Wellington,, via the usual way ports. She is due at Wellington on December 29. . With a cargo oi wool for transhipment to : the Shaw, Savill, and Albion steamer Zealandi"c, the steamer John arrived at Lyttelton from Timartt^his'morning. She will return to the southernport to-night. UThe. Union .Company's Kowhai, now at Dunedin, is expected to leave that port tonight for Lyttelton; via Oamaru and Timaru.
