THE CANADIAN SUPPLY.
GOVERNMENT ACTION. Press Association. WELLINGTON, November 16. The Premier states that the steamer Hesteros has been chartered and is now loading at St. John's with 250,00(> bushels of wheat. She sails for New. Zealand at,an early date. Mr Massey thinks the Government will also be ablu to arrange for some wheat to come front the.western side:of Canada. . The Government^is riot going to make any profit out of the shipments, but will probably make a slight loss. Private firms are also importing wheat and the Government is giving them every encouragement and facility for ' doing so.
