THE AUCKLAND TRAGEDY
A MEAN MAN. .- Press Association. AUCKLAND, November 16. At the inquest on Albon George Gaudin, who shot his wife and committed suicide (the details of which appear on page 7), Dr Houghton described the injuries and said that the woman had complained to him that her husband was a frightfully mean man, that the marriage had been an unhappy one, an.d that she had to go out to work and keep the baby. The inquest was adjourned.
