A communique states:-—The enemy's efforts for the, last few days have resulted in nothing but the taking of ruined Dixmude, whose isolated position rendered its defence difficult, fester: day was quiet, except to the north-east and south of Ypres/ where we repulsed several attacks with heavy German losses; AMSTERDAM, November 15. Twenty German trains.full.of wounded daily pass through Charleroi. ; Onetrain was wrecked, and. many* of the wounded were killed. .; .
