The Marylebone jClub has awarded the County Championship : to Surrey, though two of its matches were unplayed owing to the war. "COLTS" v. REPRESENTATIVES. A match .between a Canterbury eleven and a team of fourteen '' colts,' ' assisted by E. E. Caygill, was continued at Hagley Park to-day. The game was-started last Saturday, when the '' colts'' scored 227, and the representatives had 27 runs on for no wickets, F. Woods (19), and J, L. Paterson (8) being the '' not-out' * men. Paterson was absent when the game was resumed today. The representatives did not make a particularly good showing against the bowling of Mcßeth and Lamb.
