A VIOLENT EXPLOSION.
ATTEMPT ON JUDGE'S LIFE.

Anarchists exploded a bomb outside the ncAV courthouse for the Bronx district, completely wrecking the facade of the building. The detectives fouud evidence that the object of the anarchists was to assassinate County Judge Gibbs, who recently sentenced numbers of white slave traders heavity. Judge Gibbs had previously received an anonymous letter warning him that !he di<? as did King Humbert; Three girls were slightly injured by the explosion, and the houses in the neighbourhood were damaged.
