A summoned .meeting of the' Loyal Waiau Lodge of Oddfellows was held i in the lodge room on Tuesday evening, j An apologv for absence was received i from N.G." Bro. P. Dunbar-, P.G. Bro.' C. A hearty vote of thanks was parsed to a brother who presented his sick pay to the lodge. The receipts for the evening totalled £S 15/11, and expenditure £l3 6/B.' - The committee - appointed some months ago to go - into the question of establishing saleyards in Waiau has been busily at work. Three sites have been offered, two in Waiau and one across the river. A public meeting is to be held on Saturday night to consider the committee's-report.
