The reserves fixed, by vendors were rather high in many cases, and though the demand was good a rather large proportion of the stock was passed. The values realised were as follow: — Yearlings, £1 7/6/ Fifteen to 18 months cattle, £2 10/to £3 19/-. Two-year steers, £4 5/- to £4 15/-, Two-year heifers, £4 5/-. Three-year steers, £7 7/6/ . > Three-year heifers, £4 10/-.. Store cows, £1 10/- to £7 7/6, The. dairy cows were a moderate lot, and prices paid were not high. The entry was rather larger than usual.
