BAND OF HOPE UNION CONTESTS.
SEVENTH NIGHT. The Canterbury Band of Hope Union's contests were continued in the Choral Hall last evening. There was a good attendance, and Mr T. Cutler, one of the vice-presidents, occupied the chair. A feature of the programme was the recitation, "God of Our Fathers, known of Old.'' The prize-winners will be announced this evening. To-night's programme is as follows: Pianoforte duet, Class C; recitation, Class D; vocal quartet, Classes D and E; cornet solo; pianoforte solo, Class E.
