THE THEATRES.

HIS MAJESTY'S. David Copperfield was responsible for another large and appreciative audience at His Majesty's Theatre last evening. The scenes and characters of the book "which need no explanation, are represented on the screen with wonderful realism. The film will be screened again this evening, and at the usual matinee performance to-morrow.

COLOSSEUM. The Colosseum was largely attended again last evening, when the current programme, with "The Unwelcome Throne" in the forefront, proved most attractive. The supporting films which include the "pathe Gazette" are a very fine series, and the programme will be repeated this evening. The usual matinee performance will take place tomorrow.

GLOBE THEATBE. The new programme at the Globe Theatre is proving most successful, the star drama, "The Bridge of Terror," being the great attraction. The supporting films, which are of a high order,

are "Scapegrace," drama; "Gaumont Graphic," topical; "Norah's Boarders," comedy; and "Antigonio Valley," scenic. The series will be screened again this evening, and throughout tomorrow.

SYDENHAM PICTUBES. A/large audience witnessed the screening of the new programme at the Sydenham Theatre last evening. "The Unwelcome Throne" is the star drama and the other films comprise '' The Pathe Gazette,'' topical; '" The Signal,'' drama; "Torrents- of the Cascades," scenic; also three comedies entitled, "Max's Persuasive Suicide," "Our Country Cousins,'' and "Two Men and a Mule." The programme will be repeated this evening.
