NEW MASONIC HALL.
PLANS ACCEPTED. At a meeting of the directors of the Christchurch Masonic Hall Company, Limited, the question of the erection of the new Masonic Hall in Gloucester Street was discussed at some length, and it was decided that owing to the unemployment existing in the city it was the duty of the directors to proceed with the work. As a result, the plans submitted by the various architects were considered, the prizes being awarded as follow: Messrs Clarkson and Ballantyne 1, Mr B. J. Ager 2, Mr J. S. Guthrie 3.
