CHRIST'S COLLEGE.
HEADMASTER APPOINTED Mr George Ernest Blanch, M.A., at present headmaster of the Church of England Grammar School, Melbourne, has been offered, and has accepted, the
position of headmaster of Christ's College Grammar School, and will take up his duties at the beginning of next year. Mr Blanch is an Oxford graduate, and took his degree in Natural Science Avith first-class honours in 1887. ; He received an appointment as Senior Mathematical and Science Mastor of the Sydney Grammar School, and was actingheadmaster of that institution in 1896. He was appointed to the position he is now resigning in 1899. Mr Blanch was married in 1897 to Miss McLean, daughter of Mr li. A. McLean,, of > Brighton, England. *
