NOTES. - The re-arranged intercolonial service—viz., Lyttelton, Wellington, Sydney, Newcastle, Melbourne, and vice versa, will, until further notice, be maintained by the following steamers:—Warrimoo, Manuka, Willochra, and Ulimaroa. Captain H. White-Parsons, R.N.R., formerly master of the Tarawera, will take up the position of transport officer on H.M.N.Z. troopship No. 10 (the Arawa). Mr C. N. Having completed discharge of the Auck- . land portion of her cargo of case oil from New York, the Vacuum Oil Company's chartered steamer Verdala sailed front the northern port on Tuesday afternoon. She is expected to arrive in time,, to commence unloading operations oh Friday morning. This morning the Union Company's Rakanoa arrived at Lyttelton from Westport with a cargo of coal for the troopship Arawa. The Opouri left Greymouth yesterday morning for Lyttelton with a full cargo of ~timber. She should arrive here to-morrow, and Is to sail on the return trip on Saturday. The Chatham Islands Fishing Company's Hiinitangi is to leave Lyttelton to-day for the Chathams. Visits will be paid to Waitangi, Owenga, Pitt 'island, and Kaingaroa before the vessel returns to Wellington, via lyttelton. HUDDART-PARKER BOATS. The Victoria, which left Lyttelton last evening, will proceed to Sydney, via Wellington, Napier, Gisborne, and Auckland, taking the running of the Riverina. On arrival at Sydney fbe Victoria will be docked for survey and overhaul. The Riverina. which left Sydney yesterday afternoon for Auckland, will come sonth •in place of the Victoria, and will leave Dunedin on her return trip to Sydney, via Auckland, on September 8. The Westralia is scheduled to ieave Sydnev on September 9 for Auckland ajid Dunedin, via East Coast ports, and i.s timed to leave Dunedin on September 22 for Auckland, via way ports. She will probably return southwards from Auckland. Instead of returning to New Zealand, via Bluff, the Ulimaroa will leave Melbourne, today for Sydney, which port she will leave on Friday for Wellington and Lyttelton. From the latter port she will return on September 8 to Wellington, and thence proceed to Sydney and Melbourne.
