Thie -sinking-, of all -real political issue's for one objective, added Mr Arm* strong, was a bad jihase of the political life of New Zealand, and one to -which the Moderate League was strongly opposed. Owing to the Government's decision to proceed with the elections, and the activity of the Prohibitionists, the Moderate League, however much it regretted it, would be forced to review its decision to abate activities, as it had duties to fulfil to itself and to those Parliamentary candidates who refused to yield to the pressure of extremists.
