At the meeting of the Christchurch Prohibition League, held last evening, the following resolution was carried: — "That this league expresses its indignation at the action of those members of Parliament who opposed the Licensing Bill, reducing the iniquitous handicap imposed on a large section of the electors in the. interests of the liquor traffic. The members pledge themselves to fight at the polls those politicians who are not prepared to affirm the principles of justice."
