BRACKENfIELD HUNT. : The ' Braekenfield hounds provided a very fine day's sport on Saturday at a meet held on Timalyn, the farm of Mr H. D. Crampton. The day was perfect hunting weather, and a great contrast to the "cold, bleak time experienced on the previous Saturday. The scent lay well, and the ground was in excellent order. The country traversed on Saturday is perhaps the best over which the Braekenfield pack hunts. The downs, the fences, and other factors, combined, give ideal conditions for good runs, and the followers have expressed their pleasure at the kindness of the owners in providing, facilities for the sport. Before dispersing, afternoon tea was partaken of at' Timalyh. The' next "hunt, on Wednesday, will "be the last of the season. Among the straight followers were Mrs Bethel, Miss Macfarlane, Miss Clifford, Miss M. Clifford, Miss J. Clifford, •Miss Lunn,. Miss M. Rutherford, the master, Mr Bethel, the whip, Mr Evitts, "Messrs Macfarlane; Eldridge, (*. Crampton, F. Lunn, S. Dalziel, H. Moore, and J. Burge. ' '"-,• : i''■■;;' •-'.
