ADDITIONAL SUBSCRIPTIONS.
The Sydenham Committee is doing some good work. A benefit entertainment has been arranged by IVlrs Papprill, and will take place on Friday, August 21. By that time it is hoped to have all the lists in, and the canvass finished. A good sum of money will be the result of 's response. Any amount will be acknowledged and added to the lists by Mr Or: E. Good, Colombo Street, Sydenham.
Sister Rochf ort and Mrs Meadows attended the meeting of the Eyre County Council yesterday, and addressed members on the objects of the Children's Open-Air Homes movement. A committee was subsequently formed to canvass the district for funds. .
