DEAN'S BUSH.
iSOARO OF TRUSTEES. [From our own Parliamentary Reporter.] WKLLINGTON, July 31. Mr T, H. Pavey to-day asked leave to introduce t{je Riceartou Bush Bill, the purposes of which are to incorporate n board of trustees for the bush recently presented to the Christehureh City (Jo unci J by the Deans family. The board shall ha,ve five meinbers. two nominated by the City Council, two bv the Deans 'faintly, and one by the Canterbury Philosophical Institute, members to hold office for live years.
The first, appointments will "be made immediately after the passing of the Act. The Deans family shall be represented by members of the family. The Bill contains full provisions with regard to the procedure of the_ board, admission of the pul>lie, appointment, of ranger, etc.. The City Council .shall provide a sum of nut less than £10?) per year for the upkeep of the bush.
