REFORM PARTY ACHVITJES.
The Riccarton branch of the Reform League met in the league rooms tasfc evening to discuss matters in etrane*.-* tion with the candidature of Mr Gor:?»j§ Harper for the Riccarton seat. It was arranged to hold meetings at various places -in the electorate, and form roaimittees to further Mr Harper's candidature.
The friends and supporters pf Mr IT. T>. Acland, Reform candidate for Avow. met in the Pier Hall, New Brig&tou, last evening, and a committee was formed to assist his candidature.
