The Wesleyan Conference sympathetically received an appeal from the Institute of journalists against unfair competition by ministers, who reported foir the daily Picks. A committee was appointed to investigate the complaint. The conference considered that it was no more immoral for women to attend fights than for men. The clergy denied the recognHion separate standards. Right thinking people knew no difference in the moral code. it
