Mr Hull, the timekeeper at the Carpentier-" Gunboat" Smith fight, states that Smith was down for fourteen seconds in the fourth round. He raug the bell at the tenth second, and shouted to Mr Eugene COrri that Smith was '' out'' but Mr Oorrl'overruled him.
