Players match, despite the great heat, Douglas, who took nine of the Players' wickets for 105, bowled 38 overs. He combined swerve with extreme accuracy. PLAYESS GET WET WICKET. (Received July 16, 10.30 a.m.) The Gentlemen made 275 and the Players 150. It was a wet wicket, and the first four Players' wickets fell for seven runs. Douglas took four wickets for 67, F. Foster four for 56, and S. Smith two for 27.
