At Orange, the New Zealand footballers scored a runaway victory against Western Districts, the points being 59 to 10. This is the largest score ever put up by any New Zealand team in Australia, the previous best being 53 to nil against Northern Districts in 1903. The ground was very heavy, and rain fell during the afternoon. The team was cordially welcomed on arrival. A RUMOUR DENIED.
The manager of the New Zealand team states that all the' members indignantly deny the rumour that three are likely to go over to the League game. Sir Ronald Munro Ferguson and Sir Gerald Strickland have notified their intention of attending Saturday's test match.
