A letter was, received from the cii v surveyor stating that he thought » would be very much better to wait £u~ drier weather before starting the wo;.;, on Strickland Street. If the niefaliin.; were carried out at the present time considerable amount of metal would lost in the soft ground, besides whit-it the road could not be re-formed in wet state. The letter was received.
