HAGLEY GOLF CLUB. MEARES CHALLENGE CUP. The final of tlie Meares Challenge Cup was played on the Hagley links this morning between Dr Sandstein and Mr W. W. Morton. Sandatein conceded a handicap of oho stroke, but Morton played his approaches and green strokes so well that he came home a winner 3up and Ito play. In the first nine holes Morton won four to Sand.stein's one, the other four being halved, and Morton's score was 44 against Sandstcin's 48. In the second round each player won three and halved two, leaving Mortoa with 3 up and 1 to play after tlio seventeenth. Morton completed tbe second round in 41, giving him a suore of 85 for the 18 hole*. CHRISTCHURCIf LADIES' CLUB.
