A CALL TO ARMS.
To tbe Editor of THE- SUN. Sir,—l have been waiting very patiently to see what:our city is going to do in regard to tlic Ulster question. I notice the Wellington citizens sent forward their resolution of sympathy. I ask is this city of Christehureh going to be silent? Are all the sturdy souls who came out to this land years ago dumb? Have they lost thei- tradition of their fathers?.. Is there no loyal blood in their veins? Oh, you men of Strabane, Belfast, and Derry, what has taken the /,eal out of your souls? Have you lost the lov.c of your native land? ''Shame on you-}" Arouse! Governor Walker is beckoning to you all. Who will be the first.'to respond? Are you going to be trampled in the dust .and let your glorious past history be blotted out? No, never!—l am, etc., BEERY WOMAN.
