Pell<have been selected as America's representatives in the doubles in the Davis Clip. BRITAIN v. BELGIUM. (Received July 10, 11.35 a.m.) LONDON, July 9. In the Davis Cup preliminary tie Mavrogordato (Britain) defeated Watson (Belgium) 6-1, 6-0, 6-3. Parke (Britain) defeated de Borman (Belgium) 6-4, 6-3, 6-0. Owing to business claims, Roper Barrett will be unable to go to America, in the event of Britain beating France.
