HOCKEY.
LADIES' MATCHES. Results of the Ladies' Hockey Secondary Schools' Competition matches, played on the Polo Ground yesterilay, are as follow:— 1 SENIOR GRADE. West Christchurch lefeated Technical College by 5 goals to nil. The scorers for the winners were Miss G. Barr (3), and Miss M. Martin (2). • Digby's were defeated by Girls' High School by 4 goals to nil. The scorers were Miss M. Edginton (2), Miss M. Schumacher (1), and Miss A. Boag (1). JUNIOR GRADE. West Christchurch defeated High School by 1 goal (scored by Miss A. Skelton) to nil. The weather was good, but the grounds were heavy.
