SHIPPING NOTES. The New Zealand Shipping Company's steamers Remuera (from Wellington) and Rakaia (from Lyttelton) arrived at Pymouth and London respectively on June 16. The Pukaki left Greymouth this morning for Lyttelton with a cargo of coal and timber. ~ The; Karamu is expected to leave Greymouth with timber for Lyttelton to-morrow. The Kaipara left Bluff at 8 o'clock this morning for Lyttelton. •The. Whakatane leaves Oamaru for Timaru to-day, and will sail for Lyttelton from that ! port. •The Kowliai, leaving Dunedin about June 22, will proceed to Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton, Pieton, Napier, and Gisborne. : News has been received in Sydney of the i wreck in the Straits Settlements of-the steamer ianet Nicoll,• at' '>ne time a New Zealand trader The crew were saved. .
