Sir George Bcid presided at the Australasian dinner at the Trocadero, when two hundred and fifty guests were presers. . Prince Alexander of Teck, responding to the toast of ' 'Canada,'' recalled the warmness of Australasia's welcome and hospitality to him in 1901. Lord Bryce, proposing the toast of «< the United States/' assured Dr. Page, the/ American Ambassador, of Australasia's friendship, of whi<?h lie had many proofs during his recent visit. Dr. Page acknowledged the value of Australia's and the United States' mutual exchange of social aud economic experience.
