LIBERAL AND LABOUR ASSOCIATION.
The Provisional Committee of the Progressive Liberal and Labour Association met last evening, when it was reported that a meeting had been arranged to be held at Little River this evening, for the purpose of forming a branch of the association, and that Mr Witty would also give a political address at the same place under the auspices of the association. The women's branch reported having held a very successful meeting at Brougham Street, Sydenham. The next meeting will be held in the Oddfellows' Hall, Woolston, on Thursday next, at 3 p.m., when a new branch will be formed there.
