OPEN-AIR HOME.
FOR THE CHILDREN. A meeting of the Linwood Ladies' Committee of the Open-air Fund was held in the Linwood Library yesterday, Mrs J. R. Brunt presiding. Arrangements were made for a thorough canvass of the district, the canvass to be conducted by members of the committee and others who might volunteer their services.
The head teachers of the day and Sunday schools in Linwood will be approached with a view to arranging that small subscriptions be taken up among the children.
