APPOINTMENT TO ST. PAUL'S. Yesterday afternoon . the Christchurch Presbytery held a pro re nata meeting, when -there- were present:The Rev. J. Mackenzie(^Moderator), Rev, Dr Erwin, Rev. F; Rule, Rev; yWV R. Campbell, Rev. A. P. Burchell, and the Rev. C. Murray (clerk). | The purpose of the meeting was to consider the call of the-Rev. J. Paterson, of Chalmers Church, Redfern, Sydney, to Si. Paul's Presbyterian Church, Christchurch. ' , Dr Erwin said that there were 546 names on St. Paul's roll, and 333 of the congregation had signed the call, and at had the concurrence of 74 adherents.
