THE SUGGESTED EXCHANGE.
By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyriaht. (Received June 3, 9.10 a.m.) SYDNEY, June 3.
Commenting on the French journal "Homme Libre's" suggestion of the exchange of- the New Hebrides for Mauritius, the "Telegraph" says: : — '' This would give France a handsome bargain. The Commonwealth would welcome British ownership of the entire group, but can sciareely expect the Imperial Government to buy the French out at the price Maritius represents."
