VIOLENT MILL GIRLS.

On the occasion of Sir Edward Carson's arrival at Belfast, mill girls mobbed several suffragettes. They stripped one of nearly all her clothing, spanked her with her own shoes, and stoned the policemen who came, to her rescue.
OLD CHURCH DESTROYED.
"A REPLY TO TORTURERS.''

Wargrave Church, near Henley, which -was built in 1538, has been burned.
A quantity of suffragette cards were found, which inscribed: "A reply to the Government j a reply to torturers. " A riverside mansion near Windsor was also set on fire, bu tthe blaze was extinguished.
