LITTLE GIRL'S THROAT CUT. FATHER CHARGED WITH THE CRIME.

At the Police Court to-day William Tynan was charged with the attempted murder of'his: daughter, Evelyn, whom he waylaid when slie was leaving school and cut her throat with a razor.
The prisoner sat through the proceedings quite unconcernedly, having apparently only a spectator 's interest in the evidence, though lie occasionally displayed signs of nervous stress. , Detective M.'Malion stated that the prisoner, when arrested, expressed a desire to be hanged without delay. Mrs Tynan stated that her husband had threatened her previously with a razor, but she had never hear.d him threaten her children. Her husband had been ■drinking".to excess.' When Tynan was asked to" plead, he remained silent. He was committed for trial. , '
