The "Tagliche Rundschau" says that Britain has definitely rejected the requests of Russia and France to join the Franco-Russian Naval Convention. SiT Edward Grey, the journal adds, intimated that the Government desired, in deference to British sentiment, to maintain good relations with Germany, and avoid any step which might be regarded as directed against the latter country.
