Morphia ma nines are often seen making injections in the streets at Blagovestchensk, in the Amur territory, Siberia, says a Russian doctor. The doctor adds that the habit is also prevalent in the villages, and even children become addicted to it. In one jn-ison, of every 1000 prisoners about .HO?) are morphia victims. A large number of "morphia clubs" exist at Blagovestchensk.
