BOARD OF SCIENCE.
APPOINTMENTS MADE. Press Association. WELLINGTON, May 25. Under the Act of last session, the following have been appointed a Board' of Science and Art to control the projected Dominion Museum, Art Gallery and Library:—The Hon. H. D. Bell, Minister of Internal Affairs; Dr J. Allan Thomson, Director of the Wellington Museum; and Dr Chilton, of Christchurch, President of - the New Zealand Institute. These are ex officio. Five members appointed by the Governor-in-Couneil are: Mr G. M. Thomson (M.P. for Dunedin), Dr Thomas (Auckland), Messrs H. F. von Haast (Wellington), P. G. Morgan (Government Geologist), and C. A. Ewan (manager Commercial Union Company).
