Trade Association's Smithfield market: quotations for the undermentioned classes of frozen meat are based on actual sales of not fewer than iOO carcases of mutton or lamb, or 25 carcases of beef, of fair average quality. These quotation.3 are not for selected lines, but for parcels fairly representative of the bulk of the shipments now on the market:- —

WHEAT AND FLOUR. (Received May'2s, 8.25 a.m.) LONDON, May 24. N Wheat is steady, Australian is quiet, sellers holding for previous prices. The wheat and flour afloat for the United Kingdom is estimated at 3,075,000 quarters, and for the Continent 2,650,000. Atlantic shipments total 590,000 quarters, and Pacific 11,000. The total to Europe for the week was 1,750,000, from Australasia 29,000. ' MISCELLANEOUS. Antimony, 2/7 J. - Cotton, May-June shipment, 7.2QM. Argentine is quiet at 100/- to 102/-.- Siberian is steady at 98/- to 102/-. Irish creamery is slow at 107/to 110/-. . : • Cheese—The market is quiet. Canadian per ewt 68/- to* 70/-. Hemp—The market is quiet with a general feeling of uneasiness. :on account of heavy receipts from Manila.
