MOTOR BOATING.
NEW BRIGHTON CLUB. The New Brighton Motor Boat Club had a race over a 6i-mile course on Saturday afternoon, for prizes presented by Mr L. .Reynolds and the club. There were 18 starters. Results:— Mischief, handicap 14min .. 1 Wainui, 36min 15, sec ~ .. 2 Sylvus, 31min 45sec . 3 Puriri, 35min 45sec >.- . 4 ■ Tofua, 32min 5 This race was the final for the Champion Flag, and in the aggregate Ariki won with a margin of 11J points. This is the second consecutive win for this craft. Mr A. White's Rita was second, and Mr T. Ride's It third.
