MINISTERIAL INVASION.
MEETINGS IN CANTERBURY. NEXT WEEK'S BIG PBOGRAMME. There will be a ministerial invasion of Canterbury next week, when the Prime Minister (Mr Massey), the Minister of Justice (Mr Herdman), and the Minister of Marine (Mr Fisher) will all visit the province. The Prime Minister will leave Wellington on Saturday evening and will spend Sunday in Chvistchurch, going South the next day. The Hon. A. L. Herdman will speak at Methven next Wednesday evening, and will be present at the dinner of the Farmers' Union at Christchurch the following evening. He will speak at Hawaden on Friday afternoon and at Amber ley the same evening. The Hon. F. M. B. Fisher will address a meeting at New Brighton on Wednesday.
