A BRILLIANT " MATCHLESS " WIN. A well-known Manawatu rider, Mr H. Collinson, strictly an amateur, competing in the Manawatu M.C.C. Easter Trial for the Kevv Hudson Cup, scored a well merited victory by winning for the second year in succession, and makes' the trophy his own property. He rode, failing delivery of a more suitable mount, an old Tourist Trophy Twin Matchless, and incidentally did 143 miles per gallon of petrol (official measurement). This finished off all his rivals.
