SWANNANOA FATALITY.
ADJOURNED INQUEST. The inquest as to the circumstances .surrounding the death of Frank Alma Holmes, who died in the hospital at 7,:;0 a.m., on the loth inst., as the result' of injuries received at Swannanoa. was resumed to-day, before Mr H. W. Bishop. Sergeant. Bird appeared for the police. William Ralph Gardner, a flouriniller residing at Cust, and an eye-witness of the accident, gave extensive evidence as to the circumstances, and the re m.oval of f the deceased to JRangiova. His evidence' Went to show that the aft'airfiad been purely accideri tal, and the coroner rettiriied a verdict that deceased was accidentally killed by being run over by a dray.. ' 1
