MASONIC GARDEN PARTY.
Yesterday afternoon the members of the. loealMasonicLodgeand their wives' entertained the visiting ; Masons and their relatives at a garden party at Ricearton racecourse. Six speeial cars left the .Square at 2,15, each one being comfortably filled, and ony arrival at Ricearton afternort tea was served at ■•,- - • . the Kiosk at once, a band, which was stationed on the lawn, discoursing sweet music meanwhile. After strolling about the pretty grounds for a while,' the gathering .was massed in front of the grandstand, and photographed, and. soon afterwards a return to town was made. Amongst, tie ladies present were noticed vMrs J.- J. rDougall, wearing a handsome seal coat over her costume; Mrs Frank Nobbs, in a smart black costume, purple panne velvet. hat touched with cerise; Mrs Binns, navy costume, pow-der-blue velvet hat, sable furs; Mrs Manson, navy costume, with touches of old gold, green velvet hat; Mrs Francis, navy coat and skirt, black, fox furs, black panne plush "hat; Mrs Clifton Bingham, black moire coat and skirt, violet velvet hat massed with Parma violets' veiled in tulle; Mrs Nicols, black costume and blue hat with blue ostrich-plumes; Miss Peterkin, mustard-eoloured rough serge, costume and white-fox furs, mole coloured satin hat; Miss Sharp, dark green Donegal tweed, black fox furs, blue satin hat with- brim of brown fur; Mr/ Mosely, brown tweed costume, black hat With touches of brown;' Mrs Smith, royal blue face cloth, old gold velvet hat; Miss Deugall was in a smart blue costume and hat of emerald green, with brown fur; Miss Bishop, purple costume, hat of pale violet velvet with tinted plumes;; Mrs R. Baldwin, brown brown hat with Wedgewood. blue plumes; Miss B. Baldwin, blue costume, Iceland fox furs, hat en suite; Mrs Bottrell/ striped tailored costume, white felt hat with Mrs J. Jolly, brown costume, and hat to match; Mrs 0. N. Neilson,„saxo blue costume, black velvet hat " with white furs; Miss Alice Clarke, purple costume, purple hat with tango feather; Mrs F. Freeman, dark blue costume and brown furs, hat to mateh; Mrs Stratton Housley, dark blue tailored serge* eostume, navy blue velvet hat, black fox* furs; Miss E.Freeman, champagne cloth and .stone marten furs, hat of black velour; Mrs Redpath, navy costume, Kolenski furs, violet velvet hat; Mrs Houston was in a black costume, to which she added a handsome black velvet coat during the afternoon; Mrs M'Gibbon, cherry-col-oured cloth and velvet hat to, match. Very many other local and visiting ladies were also present.
