Daniel Christie, who broke the conditions of hin .prohibition order and got drunk, was lined 10/- on each of the two charges, with' the alternative of -18 hours in gaol. A FURTHER REMAND. Norman Frazer, a tall fair-haired youth, who pleaded guilty to the theft of £l2 10/- in money and a watch valued at £3 10/-, the property of John Wehrle, of Pukekohe, was again remanded, to enable the probation officer to put in a report.. 1 'REPOSSIOSSINU DELINQUENT. A very prepossessing young maiden, wiio appeared on the charge-sheet as Thelma Barton, alias Davis, was charged with being, at Auckland, an idle and disorderly person, fene had been before the Court in Auckland, and had been allowed out on bail. She took her chance and escaped, getting as far south as Christchurch. Her people, the Sub-Inspector stated, lived in Auckland, and were quite respectable persons. She was remanded until to-morrow, to allow the police to communicate with Auckland.. ARE VOL V 10R CASE. Michael Colbert was charged with pointing a revolver, "loaded with destructive material/' at George Green, at* Belfast, and with breaking a window valued at 7/(>. He was also remanded until Wednesday next. CIVIL CASES. Judgment by default, with costs, was oiven for the plaintiffs in the following cases:—Taylor and Co. v. Arthur Wni. Beale, £2; A. G. Loasby v.
